This Privacy Policy explains how Kinavi Corp ("Flow Fuel", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Flow Fuel mobile app (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information — your email address, and if you sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple provides us.
Health & fitness data — with your permission, we read data from Apple HealthKit or Android Health Connect, including steps, active energy burned, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, and workouts, to personalize your calorie and macro targets and coaching.
Meal photos & descriptions — photos you take or upload, and text you type, describing meals you log.
Nutrition & progress data — calories, protein, carbs, and fat derived from your logged meals; weight entries; goals; and other measurements you choose to record.
Chat messages — your conversations with the in-app AI coach.
Usage data — basic counts (e.g. number of messages or photos sent) used to apply free-tier limits.

How we use your information

To calculate personalized calorie and macronutrient targets.
To analyze meal photos and descriptions and estimate their nutritional content.
To power the in-app AI chat coach and generate periodic summaries of your progress.
To operate core app functionality such as your account, goals, and progress history.
To enforce usage limits on free accounts.

How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the App:

Supabase — our backend database, authentication, and file storage provider.
xAI (Grok API) — processes meal photos, meal descriptions, and chat messages to generate nutrition estimates and coaching responses.
Apple / Google — for sign-in, push notifications, and (with your permission) health data access via HealthKit or Health Connect.

These providers are only permitted to use your data to provide services to us, not for their own purposes.

Data retention & deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account within the App. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Flow Fuel provides AI-generated nutrition estimates and general wellness coaching for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider with questions about a medical condition.

Children's privacy

Flow Fuel is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated revision date.
